Scans and platforms
- Is the monitoring real-time?
- No. Mentionwatch scans on a schedule, which is what keeps the price low: every 24 hours on Starter, every 12 hours on Growth, and once a week during the trial.
- Which platforms do you support?
- YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Facebook. Starter covers X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube; Growth adds Facebook. The trial covers Instagram and TikTok.
- What are the data limits per cycle?
- Each scan collects up to the latest 20 TikTok videos and up to the latest 35 posts per platform for YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and X.

Keywords and sentiment
- How many keywords can I track?
- It depends on your plan. Solo includes 1 keyword on one platform with a scan every 24 hours. Starter includes 3 keywords with a scan every 24 hours. Growth includes 8 keywords with a scan every 12 hours. Each keyword covers one platform.
- Can I track custom keywords?
- Yes. Mentionwatch tracks any keyword, brand name, or hashtag you choose across the platforms on your plan.
- How accurate is the sentiment analysis?
- Every post is labelled positive, neutral, or negative automatically. Automatic labels get some posts wrong, especially sarcasm and slang, so you can change the label on any post in your dashboard.

Trial and billing
- Is there a free trial available?
- Yes. The 14-day free trial includes 1 keyword with weekly scans on Instagram and TikTok. No credit card is required to start.
- Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
- Yes. Plans are billed monthly, and you can cancel at any time in the self-service billing portal. There are no long-term contracts or cancellation fees.
- Do you offer refunds?
- If Mentionwatch is not for you, email support@mentionwatch.com within 7 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full. After that, payments are non-refundable and we do not refund partial months, but you can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the month you paid for.
